Giving Opportunities
Saint Thomas More Catholic School Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is our yearly campaign to support the school’s operating budget. This effort allows us to enhance the programs and services offered to our students giving them the best opportunity to excel both inside and outside of the classroom. We also use the funds to maintain and enhance our physical plant in ways that otherwise would not be possible.

GRACE Scholars
Turn your TAX dollars into TUITION ASSISTANCE dollars for STM SCHOOL!
As a Georgia taxpayer, you can make a donation to GRACE Scholars, designate that 100% of your donation be sent to STM School to be used for tuition assistance, and in exchange receive a dollar-for-dollar state income tax credit. This opportunity has enabled us to help so many families afford an STM Catholic education that otherwise would not be possible.

Katie Trocheck Abel Scholarship Fund
Katie Trocheck Abel was a selfless member of her community and loved giving back to the school she attended and where her children were attending. The Katie Trocheck Abel Scholarship Fund, created in memory of Katie by her parents, Tom and Kathy Trocheck, will be used by St. Thomas More Catholic School in Decatur, GA to provide scholarships to students in need. Tom and Kathy hope to recognize deserving students who will benefit from the lasting impact that being a part of the St. Thomas More community provided to their own daughter.

Clyde Marable McCarty Endowment Fund
Clyde Marable McCarty was a beloved sixth grade teacher at St. Thomas More Catholic School. After she passed away on July 16, 2017, at 95, her son, David, and daughter-in-law, Celia, created the Clyde Marable McCarty Endowment Fund in her memory. The fund supports scholarships for students in need at STM School. “I set this fund up in my mother’s memory,” David said. “She always pulled for the underdog, and she always helped the needy. If this fund helps in any way, I’m sure she would be happy.”
