Welcome to the STM Media Center

The STM Media Center is located in the Middle School Building. We are a full service media center with over 10,000 books, periodicals and videos.

The media center supports the school curriculum through collaboration and integration. We help students become “information literate” in today’s high pace environment. We provide ample opportunities for research in both print and non-print resources.

The other part of our mission is to promote reading for pleasure. We hope that our students will become life long readers. We do this through a variety of activities including the Accelerated Reader Program, Georgia Children’s Book Awards and Battle of the Books.

Students in grades K-5 generally visit the media center at least once during the six-day rotation but are welcome at other times during the week. Middle school classes sign up on an as needed basis. Middle school students also come to the library during study halls.
