This year St. Thomas More School will participate in the No Place for Hate program developed by the ADL. We will be striving to avoid bullying or being bullied and extending tolerance and love to everyone, following Jesus' command "You shall love your neighbor as yourself"" (Mt 19:19)
Many thanks to the many who entered the No Place for Hate Logo design contest. The winner is Stacy C. in 6th grade. Stacy's design (see above) will be printed In blue and yellow on white tshirts which the school will purchase for every student, faculty and staff member, and member of the STM NPFH Committee. Don't forget to wear your NPFH tshirt on each monthly NPFH day. The next NPFH day is Thursday, January 31, Mix It Up At Lunch Day.

Middle School No Place for Hate Dramatic Presentation,
All School Retreat March 19
Middle school students, working with our Artist in Residence, Aaron Beelner, presented vignettes showing rejection and ultimate acceptance by others. They completed the performance with a stirring recitation of quotes from great people martyred in pursuit of peace and justice, followed by the cry of Jesus we all must take up, "Fathre forgive them for they know not what they do."
